Building up on yesterday’s post which has been very popular indeed.
1. One must have a clear Goal and focus on it
Try to set goals that are realistic and achievable. This process might take you some time if you are not aware of what is it that you would like to achieve.
So take time to think about it and write down any ideas. You can make a list of up to ten different ideas and take time to think hard on them. Be truthful with yourself and answer simple questions to help narrow your ideas.
When you have decided on some potential goals tackle them one by one from the most important one, and most likely to be feasible to least of all.
2. Don’t say negative things about yourself
It is so easily done to be harsh on oneself. Sometimes, we think it is being modest.
Try to be your own best friend. Find ways and words to build yourself up, always. Don’t wait for others to do that. This requires for you to spend time to know 0yourself. Accepting the flaws as well as the qualities that make you. And again, honesty is crucial. Build yourself up one brick at a time. When you have a positive image of yourself, this will create more positive energy that will bounce back towards you confirming what you already know about you.
3. Don’t think about why you cannot but rather why you can
So the focus again here is on anything and everything positive in order to build yourself up. Focus on your strengths rather than your short comings. Feed on your encouragement towards yourself. That is the path to stay on.
4. Figure out when your distorted image of yourself began
You might have to dig deeper into your memories to correct where and when you started having ideas that you were not going to be successful. It could be something you heard over and over again as a child, or an incident that occurred recently and has influenced how you perceive yourself today. Deal with it and allow yourself to move on and replace the negative with purer and self loving image of who you aspire to be. This bring us to point number five:
5. Write a description of the new you
This process can only start after you have erased the old narrative and replaced it with the new. The new narrative is filled with ideas of the person who you are aspiring to be. You can be whoever you want. It all depends on you. How generous you are with yourself. How loving, how forgiving.
6. Walk the walk
You can only walk the walk starting by acting that way. Just feel you are successful. Immerse yourself into that feel good feeling and let it just run freely all-over you, through you and bounce back to you.
